Wisconsin Library Services shares an eBook collection as part of the Wisconsin Academic Library Consortium. This collection is available to all UWP faculty, students and staff.

The collection consists of copyrighted titles, which the consortium pays for, along with thousands of public domain titles.

HOW TO SEARCH

There are two types of search options:

Basic: The default search

  1. From the drop down menu, choose between full-text, keyword, title, author or subject
  2. Enter search terms and click search

Advanced Search: lined to from under the Basic Search box
There are multiple search boxes in which to combine terms. You have the same options to choose from as in the Basic search drop down menu with the addition of Publisher and ISBN.

HOW TO VIEW A BOOK ONLINE

Simply click on the View this ebook link or click on the symbol next to the title of the book.

View the ebook: A user is allowed to view the full-text of an eBook without logging in or checking out the eBook. Access is for approx. 15 minutes. You may print or copy one page at a time by using your browser's print or copy functions. Be aware that netLibrary uses frames.

Show Details: Provides an annotation of the book and well as the citation and subject heading information; and the option to email the information to yourself.

HOW TO PRINT

Because netLibrary eBooks are accessed one page at a time, you can only print or copy one page at time. After navigating to the page you would like to print, click on the Print button from your Web Browser.
