University Box Office Staff
**Box Office Attendant Duties/Responsibilities: 1) Open/close the box office, 2)Sell tickets over the phone and to walk up customers, 3)Sell commissioned items as assigned, 4)Check and answer voicemail, answer questions, perform general office duties, 5)Assist the House Manager during shows as needed.
**House Manager Duties/Responsibilities: 1)Open/close facility for performances, 2)Coordinate front of house functions, 3)Train/supervise ushers for performances, 4)Coordinate between box office/tech services/artists to ensure timely start of performance and intermission/second act, 5)Ensure safety of audience and supervise during emergencies performing evacuation procedures, 6)Supervise/sell commissioned items as assigned.
**Qualifications for position: Office management skills, computer skills, excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
**Position: Ongoing student position. Hours vary per week. Evening and weekend hours are required. Employees must work at least 30 hours at events in a semester. **Applications can be picked up and returned to the University Box Office, ground floor Ullsvik Hall (open 8am-6pm Monday-Thursday, 8am-4pm Friday).
