Office 2016 and Windows 10 updates on 2016 schedule

Spurred by recent vendor decisions, ITS will be upgrading all campus computers to Office 2016 and Windows 10 by the end of this calendar year. This is a change from the previously-planned upgrade to Office 2013. Read more...

U-Record Studio opens for business

UW-Platteville’s first one touch recording studio is now open for reservation. The U-Record Studio, as it is called, is located in Karrmann 103 and allows faculty, staff, and students, regardless of media experience, to create videos using a simple touch panel. HP Managed Print Services contract to begin April 1

Information Technology Services has contracted with Hewlett-Packard (HP) for its Managed Print Services to begin April 1, 2016. This annual contract covers cartridges, toner, preventative maintenance, service, and repair for all HP networked printers at UW-Platteville. Read more...

Adapting to change: Lab Evaluation Project

In Spring 2015 the IT Prioritizations committees (made up of faculty, administration, and Information Technology representatives) ordered an evaluation of campus computer labs for potential reduction, redesign, or elimination.
