HOW TO ORGANIZE A​N INTRAMURAL TEAM

  1. Who is eligible
    1. All students except intercollegiate athletes (with eligibility still left in their particular sport).
    2. All faculty and staff and their spouses.
  2. Steps to Organizing a Team
    1. Getting team members:
      1. Old buddies on campus
      2. Men or women on your wing
      3. For a coed team, the men or women on another wing
      4. Your fraternity brother or sorority sister
      5. A group of people from your major or minor field of study
      6. Your faculty advisor
      7. One or more of your teachers
    2. Team Entry Form
      1. Team entry forms are located at the intramural office in the Williams Fieldhouse and on the intramural website, uwplatt.edu/intramurals/.
      2. Return completed team entry form at the organizational meeting.
    3. Attend the organizational meeting for that sport. If a team is not represented at the organizational Meeting, it will not be put in a league.
    4. At Organizational Meeting
      1. Finalize your team roster (names and numbers of players).
      2. Rules will be clarified and reviewed at the meeting.
      3. Pay a $25.00 team participation fee. (Cash only)
      4. Pay a $25.00 forfeit fee. (Cash only)
  3. Important Things to Remember
    1. Organizational meetings are in Room B52 Williams Fieldhouse or Doudna 103.
    2. Teams not represented at the organizational meeting will not be admitted.
    3. Team rosters must be turned in prior to first contest.
    4. $25.00 participation fee must be paid in cash at organizational meeting; otherwise team will not be placed in a league.
    5. $25.00 forfeit fee must be paid in cash at the organization meeting; otherwise team will not be placed in a league.
