The international studies major requires between 48 and 64 credits and has a core requirement of 18 credit hours. Majors take courses in a number of different academic departments and must demonstrate at least 4th semester proficiency in a foreign language and complete a credit-bearing education abroad experience.

International studies majors must be independently driven and work with an adviser to put together a course plan that fits with their educational and career goals.
