Call for Papers and Panels (proposals due by December 15, 2013) DEADLINE HAS BEEN EXTENDED TO JANUARY 13TH!
The Symposium Committee welcomes proposals for individual papers or panels on topics related to the Symposium theme “People and the Land”. Professional and avocational historians, graduate and undergraduate students, and those engaged in the study of Wisconsin history at libraries, museums, historic sites, and historical societies are encouraged to submit proposals. Individual paper presentations should be about 25-30 minutes in length and panel presentations with two or more speakers will be allotted up to 75 minutes.
Papers and Panels will be scheduled for Friday April 4th from 9:30am -5:15pm and Saturday April 5th from 9:00-11:45 am.
All presenters must register for the conference.
To submit your proposal for a paper or panel send as WORD documents:
- A summary of the topic to be presented (one page) with contact name, email address, and phone number at the top of the page
- A one-page resume of participant(s)
- A list of major primary and secondary sources used
Email all materials together as WORD attachments to:
