HHP-TEd #1 - The teacher candidate will design effective plans for physical activity, health and wellness for individuals possessing a diverse range of ability and skill.

HHP-TEd #2 -The teacher candidate will create a learning environment to support positive educational outcomes in physical activity, health and wellness educational and community settings.

HHP-TEd #3 -The teacher candidate will employ varied instructional practices to facilitate learning physical activity, health and wellness concepts and skills.

HHP-TEd #4 -The teacher candidate will demonstrate a proficient use of content-specific academic language.

HHP-TEd #5 -The teacher candidate will demonstrate appropriate levels of professional and ethical behaviors expected in physical activity, health and wellness educational and community settings.

HHP-HP #1 -The health promotion specialist will design effective plans for physical activity, health and wellness for individuals possessing a diverse range of ability and skill.

HHP-HP #2 -The health promotion specialist will create a learning environment to support positive educational and training outcomes in physical activity, health and wellness educational and community settings.

HHP-HP #3 -The health promotion specialist will employ a variety of instructional and training practices to facilitate learning physical activity, health and wellness concepts and skills.

HHP-HP #4 -The health promotion specialist will demonstrate a proficient use of content-specific academic language.

HHP-HP #5 -The health promotion specialist will demonstrate appropriate levels of professional and ethical behaviors expected in physical activity, health and wellness educational and community settings.

General Education Core - Wellness and Physical Activity SLO's

HHP- W+PA #1 - The student will demonstrate the ability to plan for achievement and maintenance of their physical and mental well-being.

HHP- W+PA #2 -The student will recognize personal choices made in a wellness or physical activity setting have consequences on self, others, and the environment.

HHP- W+PA #3 -The student will participate in ethical  behavior while engaged in personal, group and community wellness and physical activity settings.

HHP- W+PA #4 -The student will identify the influence the student’s own culture, gender, physical skill, and  fitness level have on their own attitudes towards people different from themselves.

HHP- W+PA #5 - The students will demonstrate knowledge of the fundamental ideas at the heart of wellness and exercise sciences.
