What are you most excited about starting or experiencing at UW-Platteville?
From what I’ve seen on the University of Wisconsin-Platteville website there is a multitude of club options to choose from with an additional option to create a new organization. I look forward to exploring clubs like the Art Club and the Criminal Justice Association. I have also seen various sports displayed on the website; I was excited to see there is a track team and I look forward to watching them compete. These organizations and activities have peaked my interest and I cannot wait to see what else there is to explore.
What interests and/or hobbies do you have?
In recent years my hobbies have become more purposeful. In my down time I enjoy volunteering and working in organizations like FCCLA and Aviators by Design. Through youth groups like these I have been able to gain hands-on experience that will surely help me throughout my college expedition. I hope to find new groups to take place of the ones I will be leaving behind. I believe that the University of Wisconsin-Platteville provides more than enough opportunities to replace any vacancy left by high school activities.
Desiree's Thank You Note
Being granted this scholarship is thrilling. I cannot thank you enough; thanks to you I can breathe a little easier, knowing that I am one step closer to achieving a degree in Criminal Justice. I will always cherish your donation and I assure you that it is put to good use.
