What are you most excited about starting or experiencing at UW-Platteville?

The thing I am most excited for at UW-Platteville is their Criminal Justice classes. I have heard phenomenal stories about their classes and the amazing experiences students have. I am really excited to enjoy earning a four year degree at UW-Platteville. I am also extremely excited to show Coach Negrelli and the softball team the type of player I am out on the field. I have been playing since I was six years old and do not feel as though I will just be able to stop playing after my senior season in high school.

What interests and/or hobbies do you have?

I have been playing softball since I was six years old and I cannot wait to play for Coach Negrelli at UW-Platteville. Softball is a huge part of my life, it has helped to shape me into the young woman I am today. I also love to horseback ride, my favorite part about riding is barrel racing with my horse. Taking care of all the animals on the farm is one of my favorite tasks because I love spending my time with the animals. I also love to spend my free time with my family and friends, I love knowing I can always count on them because they are always there for me.

Rebecca's Thank You Note

I received your scholarship, Union Grove High School Community Scholarship, over this last weekend and I was overly excited after reading the first line which stated, "Congratulations!". I started to yell in excitement around my house that I received a scholarship for next school year, and my family just laughed at me. I was and still am overjoyed that I received your letter of acceptance. It means a lot to me to know that people other than my family believe in me and my plan for my future. I would like to personally thank all the people involved in making my scholarship possible and for believing in my future, you have truly made an impact in my life.
