What are you most excited about starting or experiencing at UW-Platteville?

I am most exited about experiencing the different co-curricular that Platteville has to offer me. I am very excited to be able to go to different classes and experience all of the different options form my major.

What interests and/or hobbies do you have?

I enjoy paling intra-mural soccer and FUTSAL. I enjoy band, however, I do not think that I will be participating in any band my first year so that I am able to focus on my classes.

James' Thank You Note

I am so thankful that you chose me to be the recipient of your scholarship. It means so much to me that I am able to get an education and that your scholarship will help me to graduate and not have to pay as much. Being able to get a education is a privilege and I want to thank you for giving me the opportunity to do so.

What are you most excited about starting or experiencing at UW-Platteville?

The thing that I am most excited about experiencing at UW-Platteville is the fact that it is a new experience in life. I will be joining Intervarsity, and potentially the bass fishing team. So the memories, and friendships I will make through those clubs will be great as well.

What interests and/or hobbies do you have?

I am an avid fisherman and hunter. I am also a student athlete, so wrestling and football practices and games took up a large part of my life and were both something that I enjoyed. Wrestling is definitely my favorite thing to do. I enjoy working out, and weightlifting. Outside of school, I play guitar on my church's worship team and that has been something that I love to do as well. Spending time with my family, and riding four-wheelers are also things that I enjoy.

Silas' Thank You Note

Thank you for your generous donation, and thank you for helping me reach my dream of being a high school physical education teacher. I can assure you that this money will not be ill-spent and that I will take full advantage of it. But most of all, I want to thank you for not only investing in me, but investing in the lives of the students I will teach in the future.
