What are you most excited about starting or experiencing at UW-Platteville?

At the University of Wisconsin-Platteville, I am ecstatic to advance my knowledge in Agribusiness and Ornamental Horticulture. I have always had interest in those fields and I will finally be able to pursue them this fall. I am looking forward to becoming involved in many clubs that are agricultural related and meeting alot of new people.

What interests and/or hobbies do you have?

I have grown up on a dairy farm and have always enjoyed working with plants and animals. I maintain our vegetable and flower gardens at our farm. I plan to further this passion at UW-Platteville. Also, throughout high school I have enjoyed being on the volleyball, basketball, and track teams. I have been an active 4-H member for the past ten years; advancing my skills in sewing, baking, and photography. Through FFA, I have been able to use my work on our farm and gardens as Supervised Agricultural Experiences that also intrigued my interest in continuing  my education in the field of agriculture.

Amy's Thank You Note

I feel extremely honored to be a recipient of the Monticello High School Community Scholarship selected by the University of Wisconsin-Platteville. I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your support. It will help me tremendously my freshmen year at UW-Platteville and achieving a degree in Agribusiness. Thank you again for your generosity.
