What are you most excited about starting or experiencing at UW-Platteville?

The most exciting thing about UW-Platteville is it is so far away from home. This is my first time living on my own in a brand new community. I had been to Platteville before but never long enough to take in what kind of a place it would be to live. The thing I am looking forward to is continuing with some of the things I enjoyed doing in high school.

What interests and/or hobbies do you have?

I have a large number of interests. My major ones including FFA/agriculture, theatre, and sports. I have always loved being in the FFA. That is one of the reasons I came to study agriculture education. I have joined the collegiate FFA and look forward to working with them. I also joined the Pioneer Players. This being the main theatre organization I was drawn to it right away. I can't wait to see all the different things I can do with them. I also love to participate as a spectator for the various sporting events on campus.

Paul's Thank You Note

I would like to give thanks to the people who made this scholarship possible. Getting this helped me sway my mind to pick UW-Platteville over the other college I had been accepted to. This scholarship has given me the ability to grow as a student, as a potential teacher, and as a person. I feel proud to have received this scholarship and this ability to join such an amazing school. I truly believe that every day is a great day to be a Pioneer.
