What are you most excited about starting or experiencing at UW-Platteville?

I'm excited about meeting all the new people and making new friends, which I think is an important part of any college experience. Another aspect I look forward to is the opportunity to get involved with different groups on campus. I had a lot of fun last year with Cru, FCA, Forensics, and several other school clubs, but high school is over now. At UW-Platteville, I will be able to continue with the clubs I enjoy and maybe try out some things I missed out on at high school.

What interests and/or hobbies do you have?

I really enjoy reading and participating in most sports, with soccer being my top pick. I generally like to tinker with stuff or try to fix things, but sometimes it's just more satisfying to smash something to smithereens. Other than that, I value any time spent with my friends and family.

Josiah's Thank You Note

I want to thank all those who make the Marathon High School Community Scholarship possible. I know you do not have to provide this opportunity for students, and by doing so you are actively participating in generosity. I am sincerely grateful and hope to use this financial aid for the furtherance of my education and God's kingdom.
