What are you most excited about starting or experiencing at UW-Platteville?

I am looking forward to living on campus and growing as an adult. I will enjoy going to class everyday and learning about subjects that intrigue me.

What interests and/or hobbies do you have?

I enjoy working hands on and learning about how things work. After I believe I have a proper understanding of what I'm working, I enjoy the challenge of trying to make it better.

Alexander's Thank You Note

I am honored to be a recipient of the Grafton High School Community Scholarship. I thank you for your generous support of this award and for helping local Grafton residents with financial need afford college. In the fall, I will begin my freshman year at UW-Platteville, where I plan on pursuing a degree in mechanical engineering. I one day hope to be an automotive engineer where I can help shape the future of energy efficient vehicles. My parents have always stressed the importance of education and the value of a college degree. I hope one day to share these same lessons with my children and to help prepare them for success in college. Once again, I want to thank you for making this scholarship possible and for your generosity toward the Grafton community. I hope to represent the Grafton High School Community Scholarship in a positive manner and give back to my community as you have.
