What are you most excited about starting or experiencing at UW-Platteville?
I am excited to be able to continue my education at the University of Wisconsin-Platteville because I look forward to academic challenges and to the clubs and organizations that the University of Wisconsin-Platteville has to offer. I am proud to be able to say that I am a legacy as my Uncle Scott Neuman is a 1988 graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Platteville.
What interests and/or hobbies do you have?
I am interested in community service such as helping those in need. I have also taken an active role in FFA, raising funds for MS, Cystic Fibrosis and youth services through my church. A college education is extremely important to me and my family. I started saving for college when I was 15 working in the soybean fields for Monsanto.
Ashley's Thank You Note
Thank you for choosing me as the recipient of the Evansville High School Community Scholarship. The scholarship money will help greatly with tuition costs as I hope not to have to take out too much in student loans. I was chosen for the student apprenticeship program through my high school; I attend school in the morning and work as a Certified Nursing Assistant in the afternoon I also hold a second job as a hostess at Texas Road House a few nights a week and weekends to help save tuition money.
