What are you most excited about starting or experiencing at UW-Platteville?

I am equally excited about a couple of things.  First are the engineering classes, because I wasn't able to take many at my high school.  Second is meeting new people and participating in clubs and activities.

What interests and/or hobbies do you have?

I enjoy playing soccer, snowboarding, and dirt biking.

Lucas' Thank You Note

Thank you so much for the generous scholarship.  It means so much to me that I was picked to receive this scholarship.  When the going gets tough it is these kinds of things that help me believe in myself and keep pushing forward.

Travis' Thank You Note

Thank you so much for your financial contribution. My high school Ag teacher has been my mentor for the past 5 years. He was my wrestling coach in 8th grade and I have known since my Freshman year I wanted to become an Ag teacher. I have grown up on a small hobby farm, but both of my parents came from large farms. I have helped my uncles since I was old enough to reach the peddles on a tractor. Since my parents can not help me financially, I truelly appreciate the scholarship. Thank you very much!
