Mark Taber, Chair

Graduation Year: 1984
Company: Wind River Financial, Inc

Mark graduated from UW-Platteville in 1984 with a major in Business Administration and the in 1996 he receive his certificate from the Graduate School of Banking. He is the President and CEO of Wind River Financial, Inc that is located in Madison, Wisconsin. Taber is a board member and loan committee chair for the Madison Development Corporation, board member for the MDC Venture Loan Fund, member of the Risk Management Association Wisconsin/National and a member of Family Business Center - UW-Madison. In the past he has served as a member of the UW-Platteville Alumni Association Board, American Red Cross, Four Lakes Council of Boy Scouts, Easer Deals, YMCA of Dane County and of the Madison West Kiwanis Club. Mark currently resides in McFarland with his wife Celeste. They have two children; Christina (2000 UW-Milwaukee) and Aaron (2006 UW-Madison).


Margaret Immerfall, Vice-Chair

Graduation Year: 1984
Company: CUNA Mutual Group

Margaret graduated from UW-Platteville with a major in Accounting. She is currently the meet director for the 2010 Madison all city swim meet, an annual meet for about 1,600 swimmers between the ages of 4-18 in the greater Madison area. Margaret has two children, Abby and Ben.


Doug Martin, Treasurer

Graduation Year: 1973
Company: Livingston State Bank

Douglas graduated with a Computer Business and Economics Degree from UW-Platteville in 1973, where he was awarded the 3rd Generation UW-Platteville Graduate Letterwinner. Along with his degree from UW-Platteville he also attended and graduated from UW-Madison Graduate School of Banking in 1988. He is currently the president of Livingston State Bank of Livingston Wisconsin. He is involved with the Platteville Optimist Club, Southwest Regional Planning Board of Directors, and Platteville United Methodist Church. He is married to his wife Kathy and they have two children; Jennifer Wilkie and Kelly Taylor.


Michael Jansen, Secretary

Graduation Year: 1987
Company: IIW Engineers & Surveyors, P.C.

Michael graduated from UW-Platteville in 1987 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering. Michael also joined IIW, P.C. ( in 1987 and now serves as a Chief Executive Officer/Principal Civil and Structural Engineer responsible for managing an 80 person engineering, architectural and surveying professional consulting firm with headquarters located in Dubuque, Iowa, and branch offices in Davenport, Iowa, Hazel Green, Wisconsin, and St. Cloud, Minnesota. Duties include leading a management team responsible for strategic planning, operations, firm culture, core values, growth, leadership development, and ownership transition.

Michael has been Principal in Charge of commercial, institutional and industrial building projects, water storage and treatment facilities, wastewater storage and treatment facilities, waterfront development, earth retention systems, bridges and storm water management projects. He has expertise in the design of primary and secondary framing systems comprised of structural steel, cold formed steel, reinforced concrete, masonry, wood, aluminum, fiberglass and composite construction, analysis and design of site grading for earthwork quantities, hydrologic and hydraulic analysis and design of storm water management systems, traffic circulation, and public utilities.



John Boldt, Past Chair

Graduation Year: 1976
Company: Clark Dietz, Inc.

John graduated from UW-Platteville in 1976 with a degree in civil engineering. He is the executive vice-president and director of operations for Clark Dietz, Inc. Clark Dietz has offices in Illinois, Wisconsin, and Indiana. Boldt has served as the president of the American Council of Engineering Companies of Wisconsin. Besides his 30 years of experience in the industry, he is a member of the American Water Works Association, the Water Environment Federation, and the American Public Works Association. He is a past chairman of the town of Bristol Plan Commission and chairman of the St. Scholastica Church Building Committee. After a number of years of service on the University of Wisconsin-Platteville Alumni Board, John has joined the Foundation Board. He resides in Bristol, Wisconsin with his wife, Barbara (Bishop), also a UW-Platteville grad and they have two children, Amy (UW-Platteville-2004) and Adam (UW-Madison-2006).



John Busby

Graduation Year: 1975
Company: Affiliated Dentists

John is the President and Managing Partner of Affiliated Dentists in Madison, WI. He graduated from UW-Platteville in 1975 with a degree in General Sciences/Chemistry. The ROTC Program at UW-Platteville was the source of his Army commission. Upon graduation from Marquette School of Dentistry, John completed a General Practice Residency in the Military. After 24 years, he retired from the U.S. Army after completing many clinical and military roles. As his dental organization grew, John completed a MBA at Northwestern University. Dr. Busby has been involved with many community and civic projects. He and his wife, Terry have 3 adult daughters; Kate, Lou and Jenny.


Tim Foht

Graduation Year: 1988
Company: M&I Wealth Management

Tim graduated from UW-Platteville in '88 with a degree in Business Admin/Finance. Tim joined M&I Wealth Management in Madison in '00 and serves as a Senior Portfolio Manager for personal, institutional, and corporate clients. Prior to joining M&I, Tim served as Senior Portfolio Manager for Commerce Bank, where he managed the investment activities and staff for their Illinois region. Tim lives in Fitchburg with his wife Mary, and children, Elijah and William.


David H. Fritz

Graduation Year: 1981
Company: TRICOR Insurance & Financial Services

Dave graduated from UW-Platteville in 1981 with a degree in Accounting. He is the President and CEO of Tricor, Inc and Tricor Lending, LLC. Tricor is an independent insurance agency, financial services company and mortgage brokerage company operating in 12 Wisconsin locations and 1 Iowa location. Dave also serves on the business advisory board for UW-Platteville. He is active in industry related groups and several not for profit groups. Dave lives near Potosi, Wisconsin and along with his wife, Lois; they have 4 children, Emily (currently attending UW-Platteville), Maddie, Rachel and Timmy.


James Hammes

Graduation Year: 1972
Company: Cramer, Multhauf & Hammes, LLP

Jim received his BS degree in Political Science from UW-Platteville in 1972 and his JD from Marquette Law School in 1977. After graduating from law school in 1977 Jim became a partner at Cramer, Multhauf & Hammes, LLP. His area of expertise is civil litigation with an emphasis in municipal law. He is affiliated with the State Bar of Wisconsin, Waukesha County Bar Association, Bar Association Grievance Committee and Fee Arbitration Dispute Committees. Jim resides in Waukesha, Wisconsin with his wife Pamela (Miller) Hammes. Pamela graduated from UW-Platteville in 1972 with a major in Elementary Education. Jim and Pamela have three children, Molly (Adam) Marshall of Nashotah, WI, Annie (Justin) Staebler of Delafield, WI and Christopher (Jasmin) Hammes of Verona, Wis.


Christina Kolenda

Graduation Year: 1972
Company: Green Trails Animal Clinic


Christina graduated from UW-Platteville in Political Science. She is the manager of Platteville High School Class of 1967 Scholarship Fund, a former member of Zoning Board of Appeals, the Green Trails Improvement Associate President, and a state representative of Children's Service Society. Christina enjoys cooking, reading, painting and entertaining. She has two children, Rachel and Emily.


Jeff Kronser

Graduation Year: 1977
Company: Strand Associates

Jeff graduated from UW-Platteville in 77 with a degree in Civil Engineering. He has spent his entire career as a consulting engineer with Strand Associates, starting in design and eventually developed and led the firm's transportation discipline. Jeff became the firm's Director of Operations in 2002 and was elected as Executive Vice President in 2005. He has been very active in the business of engineering on a State and National level, serving on various committees and chairs for the American Council of Engineering Companies. Jeff's wife, Laura, is a UW Madison grad and they have five children, Chelsae, Corey, Jaclyn, Jameson, and Kaeden.


Sigrid Lind

Graduation Year: 1973
Company: Retired Educator

Sigrid graduated from UW-Platteville in 1973 with a degree in Elementary Education (K-6) and went on to UW-La Crosse where she graduated with a Master of Education in Professional Development in 1987. She was an educator for thirty-six years at the primary level in Viroqua Area School District. Lind is a member of VEA, CRUE, WEAC, NEA and the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church as well as a substitute teacher and a volunteer at Vernon Memorial Hospital Gift Shop. In the past she has served on the Board of Directors for the Viroqua Day Care Learning Center and was a member and president of Kappa Alpha Sigma sorority at UW-Platteville.


Erin Ralph

Graduation Year: 2003
Company: John Deere Dubuque Works


Erin is a 2003 graduate of UW-Platteville with a degree in mechanical engineering. She was very invovled in various activites and organizations as a student including SWE, ASME, Tau Beta Pi, Student Ambassadors, Tour Guide, Phi Kappa Phi, Pi Tau Sigma. She studied abroad in Australia while a student. Professionally she is involved with the Society of Women Engineers, Young Professionals, ASME, and SAE and is a member for the UW-Platteville Foundation board of directors. Jesse, her husband, is also a mechanical engineering graduate of UW-Platteville. Her and Jesse have three daughters. Erin grew up in Prairie du Chein, Wis. and currently resides in Dubuque, Iowa.

Erin is currently a Engineering Supervisor for Excavators Outside of the Americas. She was been in this position since 2010. Prior to that she was a Product Engineer II at John Deere working on 4WD Loader Cabs.


Thomas Rowe

Graduation Year: 1974
Company: Badgerland Financial

Tom graduated from UW-Platteville in 1974 with a degree in Agri-business. He is in his 35th year of his career in banking and is currently employed by Badgerland Financial in Dodgeville, Wisconsin as a credit analyst. He specializes in commercial and agricultural finance. Tom's wife is an R.N. at the Monroe Clinic and has been in nursing for 34 years. She works in the day surgery unit. They have two sons, Jon, 23 and Eric, 21 who is a senior in Biochemistry at UW-Platteville.


Brock Waterman

Graduation Year: 2010
Company: Fundunity LLC & GeNext Software

Brock graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Wisconsin-Platteville in 2010 with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. He had a finance emphasis and Spanish minor and was a Gilman Scholar. He also holds two degrees from Southwest Wisconsin Technical College in Computer Information Systems which are the Programmer Analyst and Microcomputer Specialist degrees. Brock owns Fundunity LLC, which specializes in business consulting, business finance, and connecting community investors with businesses. His company also does website design, hosting, and search engine optimization. He is also the Coordinator of the Pioneer Launch lab, which is a venture on the UW-Platteville campus that helps current and recent students launch their own businesses by offering consulting and networking opportunities. He comes from a family of entrepreneurs and his parents own Lumber Land LLC, which is a farm equipment repair business specializing in chopper box repair located near Boscobel, WI. In the past, he worked as a Senior Programmer/Analyst with Lands' End, Financial Institution Specialist with the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC), Futures and Options Market Specialist with, and SCUBA diving instructor in the Caribbean and Thailand. He has been the Wisconsin State President for the Business Professionals of America and CEO of the Pioneer Investment Club and has a Series 3 license. Brock enjoys travel and has traveled within the United States as well as to 30 countries including areas like, Central and South America, Europe, Asia and the Pacific. He spent almost 4 cumulative years on the road during a mid-20's "retirement". Brock lives in Platteville, with his girlfriend Becky who also graduated from UW-Platteville.


Art Weber

Graduation Year: 1986
Company: Financial Institution Products Corporation (FIPCO) 

Art received his Bachelor of Science from UW-Platteville in 1986 and his Master of Business Administration from Cardinal Stritch in 1993. He is the Director of Sales at FIPCO that is located in Madison, Wisconsin. Weber currently participates in the McFarland Education Foundation (Board of Directors), Optimist Club (Member) and the McFarland Community Development Authority (Member). In the past he has participated in the McFarland Zoning Board of Appeals, McFarland Family Festival Parade, Christ the King and the McFarland Cub Scouts. Art currently resides in McFarland with his wife Cynthia (Lease) who received her degree in Education from UW-Platteville in 1984 as well as her Master Degree from UW-Platteville. Art and Cynthia have three children; Calvin, Alyse and Austin.
