Steven graduated with a Light Building Construction Degree with a Business Minor from UWP in '80 and currently is President of Jos. Schmitt & Sons Construction. He is currently President of the Sheboygan Falls Schools Foundation, Board Member of Sheboygan Falls Chamber Main Street, Board Member of the Sheboygan Symphony Orchestra, and Advisory Board Member of the Sheboygan Wells Fargo Bank. Steven and his wife, Nellie, have twin daughters that attend Indiana University- Bloomington.
