Speech is an excellent major to prepare you for work in many fields, including banking, public relations, sales, child care, marketing, retailing, law, industry, management, human resources, law enforcement, government, education, and politics-to mention a few.
UW-Platteville offers a 36-credit major in speech. The curriculum reflects both its rhetorical and theatrical heritage, and the contemporary demands of society and the work place. Your course of study will include both general education (university) requirements and required and elective classes in the major.
