Biographical Information:
G. Daniel Fairchild is in his thirty-first year as Professor of music at the University of Wisconsin Platteville, and serves as Chair of the Department of Fine Arts. He is an active clinician and conductor, working with thousands of middle level, high school and college musicians each year.
In addition to decades of work with the University Wind Ensemble and Orchestra, he has serves as director of the Dubuque Symphony orchestra, The Wisconsin College Brass and Percussion Teachers Ensemble, and the Grand Opera House.
As a performer, Mr. Fairchild is active in scores of professional performances each year. He has recorded chamber music on the Music Minus One, Composers Recording Inc. and Heliotrope labels.
