Must be one of the following majors: English/Language Arts, Speech, History, Drama, or French. Must be in your sophmore, junior, or senior with a GPA of 3.0 or better
College of Liberal Arts: Education Scholarship
Any major in the College of LAE.
ELS - Alumni Chapter
Any liberal arts or education major in the College of Liberal Arts and Education; leadership potential; 60+ credits hours; high academic achievement; financial need.
Glenn R. Davis
Forensic participant, excellence in scholarship. Financial need.
Patricia Doyle
Traditional age female, majoring/minoring in health and physical education with significant participation in student activities, at least sophomore standing (30 credits earned), minimum GPA of 2.5 (4.0 scale), need based.
Roy and Ethel Shaver
The recipient shall have a cumulative GPA of at least a 2.2. The recipient should be from a single parent family and pursuing a career of study from offering in the College of LAE.
Valerie (Beighley) Anderson
Junior or senior in humanities or arts (teaching and/or nont-teaching majors in English, foreign language, art, music, theatre or interdisciplinary studies in the humanities): minimum GPA of 3.0.
Vern Thompson
Any liberal arts major in the College of Liberal Arts and Education with sophomore standing (minimum), a cumulative GPA of 3.25 or above and of good character.
William H. "Billy" Williams
Primary major (any discipline) in the liberal arts; biology; physics, chemistry eligible. Applicants must have a GPA of 3.0.
Women's Studies Scholarship- Georgeonna Sands
Any major in College of LAE.
Ziegert Scholarship
Currently enrolled, demonstrate interest in pursuing speech communication career, financial need, GPA 3.25 or better and good character.
