Financial Aid - Civil Engineering Scholarships

American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE): Must be an ASCE member, member of ASCE UW-Platteville Chapter for 2 consecutive semesters and has one or more years of school remaining.
Ayres Associates: Must have a major in Civil Engineering
Cecil Bailie: Mining construction emphasis.
Delta 3 Engineering, INC.: Must be a civil or environmental engineering major, enrolled as a sophomore, junior or senior, GPA of at least 3.0 and a resident or Wisconsin.
Duffy Engineering: Full time junior or sophomore structual engineering major who shows evidence of accepting more than his/her "fair share" for any given project.
E.E. Clarke Surveying Scholarship: Must be a Civil Engineering major and completed his/her junior year.
Faherty, Inc.: Resident of Southwest Wisconsin, financial need.
Gauthier & Sons' Construction: Soph/Jun/Senior, Civil Engineering Major at time of selection, 2.75+ GPA financial need is not a factor.
George Kettler Memorial in Civil Engineering: Any student majoring in Civil Engineering. Preference given to students with financial need.
Gordon E. Wegwart, P.E. Civil/Environmental ENG.: Working towards degree in civil or environmental Engineering program. Junior student. Have attained a 3.5 GPA. Involved in outdoor activities (fishing, golfing, and boating).
Huff Family Foundation Scholarship: Majoring in Civil Engineering with an emphasis in Mining or Industrial Engineering and then Business Administration. Preference given in location sequence: first, Lancaster High School graduate, second, Grant County and third, State of Wis. Grade level determined by selection committee.
J.P. Cullen: Recipient must be full-time, on-campus student with a minimum of 59 credits majoring in civil engineering with an interest in construction. Must have and maintain a 3.0 GPA to receive and reapply for scholarship. Consider leadership, financial need. May receive scholarship maximum of six semesters. Scholarship is for Wisconsin tuition and fees for the full year.
John L. Curnow Memorial: Graduate of an accredited high school in southwest Wisconsin (area bounded by I-90, the Mississippi River and the Wisconsin/Illinois state line). Sophomore, junior or returning senior in engineering. An above average academic record with minimum GPA of 2.75 (4.0 scale).Demonstrated financial need (FAFSA filed).
Lisa Karberg-Machotka Memorial: Female Civil Engineering student. Must be a sophomore or junior year with at least a 3.0 GPA.
McCullough-Wetzel: Any Civil Engineering Major, must have GPA of 3.0 or better, completed his/her junior year. Must demonstrate leadership and is involved in extra curricular activies.
Mining Development Scholarship: Mining construction emphasis.
O.E. and Agnes Dewitt Memorial: Students in Mining Engineering Programs.
Paul A. Keehn Memorial: 30+ credit hours. Application shall include a narrative regarding the applicant's motivation to pursue a civil engineering career. Financial need and academic achievement will be considered secondary.
The Ralph Family Scholarship: Must be in good academic standing, GPA of 3.25 or better, completed junior year at UWP, majoring in Mechanical, Civil or Electrical Engineering and has demonstrated leadership and is involved in extracurricular activities.
Robert Kliebenstein Memorial: Mining construction emphasis, character.
Speedway Sand & Gravel Scholarship: Must major in civil engineering, GPA of 2.75, must exhibit high quality work ethic, demonstrate financial need and life long resident of Wisconsin.
Strand Associates: Recipient shall be in his/her sophomore, junior, or senior year as a Civil or Environmental Engineering major. Applicants shall have a GPA of 3.0 or higher. Preference given to applicants who are involved in extra-curricular activities. Financial need is also a factor.
Ted & Sande Richards: Must be a junior in Civil Engineering. Must exemplify best UW-Platteville tradition of excellence in education and consideration in extracurricular activities.
Tom Lee Memorial: Junior or senior, interest in sanitation or environment.
Wang Civil and Environmental Engineering Scholarship: Must major in Civil or Environmental Engineering, have a 3.0 GPA or better, completed junior year and demonstrated leadership and is involved in extracurricular activities.
William M. Fitzgerald Memorial: Junior or senior, merit.
Wisconsin Asphalt Paving Association: Emphasis/interest in highway materials and pavements. Awarded in the spring.
Wisconsin Concrete Association: Emphasis/interest in highway materials and pavements. Awarded in the spring.
Wisconsin Dot Sponsored Scholarship: Junior/senior major in Civil/Environmental Engineering with an emphasis in Transportation Engineering , GPA of at least 2.5, Wisconsin resident and demonstrate a financial need.
Wisconsin Transportation Association: Emphasis/interest in highway materials and pavements. Awarded in the spring.
