Financial Aid assists students with state and federal aid programs. Office personnel provide budget and loan counseling, help students find employment on and off campus, and administer the UW-Platteville Scholarship Program.

NEW FOR 2012-2013

The 2012-2013 FAFSA will be available online January 1, 2012 at FAFSA.gov

If your 2012-2013 FAFSA is selected for Verification, you will be asked to submit a signed Verification Worksheet to verify household size, number of dependents enrolled in college, and child support paid, and possibly other data upon further review of your application.

In addition, if your FAFSA is selected for verification and you reported that you or anyone in your household received benefits from Food Stamps/SNAP (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program), you must provide written documentation from the issuing agency, such as a copy of the card.

To meet the verification requirement for Adjusted Gross Income, U.S. Tax Paid, and Untaxed Income, you (and parent, if you are a dependent student) must do one of the following:
