Alumnus John Heller, 1999
Currently, I'm working on paper machine equipment. This machinery requires PLC's and Human Machine Interfaces (HMI or MMI) programming that control hydraulic, pneumatic, and drive systems. After programming, on-site coverage for start-up and train mill staff is required. This has led me to visit many states across the US, Canada, and Finland. EP gave me the understanding of multiple interfacing disciplines which is required in my field. It also gave me a problem-shooting skills that are needed in field work since most solutions are not found in a manual but in a collection of data and experience.
