Discussion Items:

Mesut Muslu presented and explained curriculum changes for EE. GE 1320: Engineering/Computer Graphics to be deleted from the list of courses required to complete the major in EE; EE 1210: Increase course credits from 2 to 3, course and pre-req changes; EE 2210: Course and pre-req changes. Discussion followed. Abulkhair Masoom voiced two concerns: College moving further away from the idea of common first year curriculum for all Engineering students – a strong recruiting point, and possible retention of decided EE students not doing well in EE 1210. Jerome Wilson voiced similar concerns. Max Anderson thought they are minor ones. He also raised questions about  having different core requirements for each major. Sheryl Wills asked about Math contents in EE2210. Moved by Max Anderson and seconded by Mohan Gill to approve the documents. All indicated approval.

No meeting Friday unless Lisa Riedle calls it.

Adjournment at 3:30 p.m.

Respectfully Submitted,

Abulkhair Masoom
