Visitors: Tammy Salmon-Stephens

Minutes from November 18, 2002 were approved as distributed.

Announcements:

1. Max asked if there had been any progress on eliminating paper copies for the UUCC informational purpose items. Rich indicated that Academic Affairs had not met but he would carry forth this request.
2. Jaime indicated that there was a high level of interest in the College of EMS at the session of Pathways to Platteville that he attended.
3. Doyle St. John’s mom passed away late last week. Phil indicated that Doyle will be out for the week.

Discussion Topics:

1. UUCC—Sheryl discussed the changes as distributed for the math major emphases in actuarial studies and finance. Mesut motion to approve. Abulkhair second. Discussion followed. Motion carried.

2. Budget Difficulties—Motion by Phil and second by Max to move into executive session.

Came out of executive session and meeting adjourned at 4:00 p.m.
