Wilson suggested that a computer inventory be completed as part of a senior design project. b. J. Wilson reported on Cabinet topics. c. Fall faculty loads should be submitted to J. Wilson by Friday, July 16. d. Comments/concerns on the Dean's search were expressed. e. A discussion was held on the securi ty of computer labs and the hiring of student monitors. It was felt that because of the increased cost of student wages, labs will need to be self-monitored. There was also a concern about the costs of toner and paper. Faculty should caution students to use discretion in printer use. Companies involved in projects may have to share some of the costs. f. The Mail Room had asked if the College of EMS would wish to receive the Xerox 2510 copier (capable of doing large size copying/bluep rints) for our use. It was determined that the machine should be housed elsewhere. The Mita 1605 copier housed in the Dean's Office is available for any department willing to assume the maintenance costs. 4. Other Business a. The 1996-97 Annual Report from the Chancellor needs input from the College by August 15 regarding the year's highlights/accomplishments for faculty, students, departments and the College. The accomplishments should, ideally, be tied to the goals submitted in last year's report. b. J. Wilson thanked everyone for their support and assistance. She will be on vacation from August 1-11.
