Integrys Energy Group Plant Tour

Are you considering a career in energy? Do you have an interest in knowing more about how "the grid" is powered?

Integrys Energy Group, a Chicago-based company focusing on energy delivery in the Midwestern United States, is sponsoring a site visit and tour of its Wisconsin Public Service plant in Weston, WI.

Any UW-Platteville student is invited to attend.

Date: Friday, December 6
Time: 7:30 am - 6:00 pm
Cost: Free

Bus transportation departing from and returning to the UW-Platteville campus will be provided. The site visit will include a networking lunch & presentation and a tour of the Weston 4 "clean coal" power plant. Weston 4, a 525-megawatt generator, opened in 2008 and has won several awards and recognitions for its quality, excellence in design, efficiency, and features that minimize environmental impact.
