Article V: Amendments

This Constitution may be amended by a two-thirds majority of the votes cast by eligible voting members of the academic staff (see Part I, Article II of the Academic Staff Bylaws for voting eligibility requirements). Amendments may be initiated by one of two methods:

  1. Through the recommendation of the Academic Staff Senate; or,
  2. Through a petition containing signatures of twenty percent of the total membership of the academic staff eligible for voting privileges. This petition shall be submitted to the Academic Staff Senate.
