Text Box: EE Events Text Box: A Field Trip to Montfort Wind Farm Dr. Mesut Muslu and his students in EE4450 (Power System Analysis) paid a visit to Montfort Wind Power Station in March 2007. This is the second visit paid by the UWP EE students to the same wind farm. In the Fall of 2003, Dr. Xiaomin Kou and his students in EE4430 (Power Electronics) paid the first visit to this wind farm. Some showed strong interests in the field of the renewable energy, which could be one of the future direction of development for EE power emphasis. A new renewable energy lab has been proposed to the engineering school. We are actively looking for partnerships from industry.
