Welcome to the Electrical Engineering Department at UW - Platteville! Our electrical engineering program is accredited by EAC/ABET (the Engineering Accreditation Commission of the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology). It is designed to be an applied program, emphasizing application of theoretical concepts toward practical engineering design and development.

EE graduates have positions with major industrial concerns, applying technical skills to solve design, sales, and management problems. Employers of recent UW-Platteville graduates include Motorola, Hewlett-Packard, Ameritech, IBM, GTE, Commonwealth Edison, Alliant Energy, WE Energy, American Transmission Co., Hamilton Sundstrand, Minarik, John Deere, Kimberly Clark, Caterpillar etc.. Recent event:

The EE Department has moved to the new engineering hall. EE Faculty offices (EGH 319-327) and EE laboratories are all located in the third floor.
