Pre-Professional Days
Pre-professional Days activities are related to requirements for Admission to the School of Education and to the professional development of prospective teachers. Activities include:
- Required for admission to the School of Education
- Admission Portfolio Assessment for Admission to the School of Education. Candidates being assessed MUST bring the hard copy of their portfolios with them to the assessment session. The application period begins on Monday, February 11, 2008 at 8:00 a.m. and ends on Monday, February 25, 2008 at 8:00 a.m. After the sign up deadline has passed, contact David Chellevold at chellevd@uwplatt.edu or 342-1065 if you have questions. Note: Please understand there are no guarantees and there is little chance for an assessment time after the registration deadline.
- Freshmen are eligible for an Admission Portfolio assessment only if they have successfully completed Introduction to Education or Introduction to Physical Education.
- Registration begins on Monday, February 18, 2008 in the School of Education Office - Doudna 139.
- Registration ends on Friday, February 29, 2008.
