All assessment sessions will be held in Room 127 Doudna Hall. Plan to arrive at least 15 minutes early in order to complete paperwork, gather your thoughts, and relax. Refreshments will be provided. In as much as this is an official interview, we recommend that you dress appropriately.
Candidates requesting an Admission Portfolio assessment must bring the hard copy of their portfolios with them to their assigned time slot. Please check the required “Admission Portfolio” contents in the
Undergraduate Portfolio Handbook available online or available in the School of Education office. If the teacher candidate’s portfolio is not approved during the assessment session s/he will be required to do one of the following. For minor issues such as a missing piece, minor grammar errors, etc., the candidate will sign up to meet with a designated faculty member from March 6-13 showing evidence of making the required changes. Those with major issues must sign up to attend a
mandatory two hour scheduled workshop that will be held between March 6 and 13. Final approval for portfolios for these candidates must be completed by March 28, 2008.
