Short-Term Faculty-Led Programs

Short-Term Faculty-Led Study Abroad Students in Guatemala

UW-Platteville Education Abroad offers a number of short-term faculty-led programs which allow students to take a course taught abroad by one or more UW-Platteville faculty members.  These are a great program option for students who want to take an elective in their major/minor or a general education requirement during the University intersession. All programs carry UW-Platteville academic credit (typically three credits) and contain an international component which lasts between ten days and three weeks.   Programs are often offered over the winter, spring, and summer breaks and also require some pre-departure and returnee requirements such as readings, research, papers, informational meetings, etc.

The location and focus of the programs vary greatly, and program offerings will change from year to year.
