GMIT Galway, Ireland Exchange
UW-Platteville Education Abroad has been helping UW-Platteville students study at the Galway-Mayo Institute of Technology (GMIT) since 2003. Since then, dozens of students have chosen to study abroad in Galway, Ireland on the UW-Platteville Exchange program. Today students can study at GMIT for:

The Galway-Mayo Institute of Technology (GMIT) is a third level institute of education and is based at five locations in the west of Ireland, including GMIT Galway. GMIT hosts more than 250 international students from over 70 different nationalities every year and gives students the opportunity to study in one of five schools of study, including: business, engineering, hotel management, humanities, and science.
GMIT Galway is the largest of GMIT's five campuses and is on the outskirts of Galway City and overlooks Galway Bay. The campus building's distinctive three sail-shaped copper panels at the front of the main building makes it one of Galway City's iconic landmarks, and the unique design helps identify GMIT as an innovator in modern technology.
