Troubleshooting Tips
The following articles have been written to answer questions that frequently arise as students are working in their courses. If you have a technical question or problem, you may find the answer to it in one of the following articles:
For those of you who don't have antivirus software or don't get updates frequently, you may want to periodically scan your machine for viruses just to be on the safe side. Although we are unable to provide you with this service, there are a number of places online you can go to scan your machine for viruses. Keep in mind that these sites are only recommendations and we only provide this information for your convenience.

One such website with an online virus scanner is http://www.tech24.com. This site also offers other help options for your computer problems, including a self-help area. They boast a 96% success rate.

Library Access
To access the main library resources, click on this "Library link" and follow the links to online resources. To access online guides, resources, e-books, electronic articles, etc., you must use your UWP username and password, which the Distance Learning Center will send to you by email.

On the main library page, there is a link for distance education students, which explains how to use interlibrary loan, check out materials, and access a reference librarian for assistance with your research questions.
