Professional Experience
Stanley is a certified Professional in Human Resources and has been a faculty member at UW-Platteville for four years, teaching courses such as Leadership and Management, Human Resource Management, and Quality Management in a classroom setting. She has taught a variety of business and management courses for the Distance Learning Center since 2011. Prior to that time, she spent two years with Fusion Staffing, based out of Walnut Grove, California, as an executive-level corporate recruiter and was responsible for filling upper-level management and research positions. She also enjoyed spending nine years with a Fortune 500 retail organization. During this time, she held several management positions at the company and was responsible for recruiting, training and developing associates for a five-state region including Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Ohio, and Missouri. She is an active member of the Society for Human Resource Management and the Academy of Management.
Personal Information
Stanley lives in Platteville with her husband and her two children. She enjoys reading and spending free time with family. She enjoys working with students in an online format. She has firsthand knowledge of the difficulties of balancing work, family and school and understands the relief and convenience that distance learning opportunities offer.
