Professional Experience
Les is currently an Assistant Professor of Business at University of Wisconsin-Platteville. He brings over ten years of higher education experience in marketing, student services, curriculum development, and teaching. Prior to his current role, Les was the marketing director for UW-Platteville’s Distance Learning Center and chairman of the Academic Staff Senate.
Les is also a veteran of the US Army, having finished eight years of service that ended with him as a Field Artillery instructor at Fort McCoy, Wisconsin. Continuing his commitment to the military, Les serves on UW-Platteville’s Veterans Council, advocating for the specialized educational needs of military students.
Personal Information
Outside of his activities at UW-Platteville, Les is a board member for the Platteville Main Street Program and advises area businesses on marketing. He also enjoys being outside: fishing, hiking, or shredding a trail on his mountain bike.
