Professional Experience
Hilal was a full-time assistant professor for UW-Platteville for three years where she taught a variety of undergraduate and graduate course. She also was the coordinator of the undergraduate criminal justice degree. Hilal has a lot of experience with online education. She has developed, revised, and taught numerous online courses at both the graduate and undergraduate level.
She now teaches on-line on a part-time basis for UWP.
Prior to working at UW-Platteville, she was an adjunct professor at the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, Minnesota, and taught at South Dakota State University while working on her doctorate.

Hilal's hobbies include running, triathlons, and reading.
