Professional Experience
Gunser has taught in higher education since 1987 and has more than 10 years of corporate experience. She has worked as a branch manager for a bank with more than $10 million in assets and was responsible for the bank's IRA/Keogh portfolio of the same size. She was also employed in banking research and development where she developed, tested and implemented banking products for more than 100 banks in the Midwest. Gunser has also worked as a financial analyst for a $200 million mutual fund portfolio and was a research associate for Northern Illinois University, where she performed statistical analysis on the student population.
Gunser is a member of the Midwest Business Administration Association and was a director for the Midwest Academy of Finance and Insurance. She has presented and published numerous papers.
