Professional Experience
Schroeder has been teaching business administration at the University of Wisconsin-Platteville since 1990. She teaches undergraduate and graduate level courses in Human Resource Management, Compensation Management, Employee Recruitment and Selection, and Labor-Management Relations.
Schroeder's work experience includes eight years in quality assurance managerial positions for a medical device manufacturing division of Bristol-Myers Squibb Corporation and four years as human resource manager for public and private sector organizations. She has authored and co-authored papers and presentations on the subjects of employee selection, performance appraisals, the Americans with Disabilities Act, employee recognition, team building, and learning in computer-mediated classes.
Schroeder has a lifetime certification as a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) through the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM).
