INTRODUCTION
The print-based courses are set up on an individualized, self-paced basis, which allows ultimate flexibility for each student. After registering for a course, students are sent a course manual (written by a faculty member), which is used as a guide to complete the course. Written assignments, reading assignments, competencies, objectives, and exam preparation are a part of each module of a print-based course. The course manual is a companion for the textbook(s) associated with each class. Each individual student determines the time frame in which they will complete the assignments and exam for the class. Students have up to one year to complete a contract.
