INTRODUCTION
The online courses are set up in a highly interactive format that allows students to communicate with their instructor and classmates. Students sign up for courses each semester and participate in a virtual classroom environment, completing both individual and team assignments via the internet. Discussion segments are also a requirement of the online classes, but are done in an asynchronous format, so students are not required to be online at a specific time. Students who pay their tuition by the priority registration deadline will receive access to the class one week prior to the actual start of the class. This gives students an opportunity to review the content of the course and participate in the online orientation to the course software, prior to the official first day of class.
