Interactive Television Courses

INTRODUCTION
Interactive videoconferencing systems serve as a link between the instructor and students in a synchronous distance course. This kind of interaction allows students to learn at the same time regardless of physical distance. At UW-Platteville, instructors typically meet with a class of on-campus students in a videoconferencing classroom, and through the use of video cameras, microphones, and other technologies, the class is delivered to distance students who have gathered at various off campus sites.
