Distance Education Demographics

The University of Wisconsin-Platteville is an accredited* public university with a long history of educational excellence in both classroom and distance education. The Distance Learning Center at UW-Platteville has offered its Bachelor of Science in Business Administration degree via correspondence since 1978 and launched its first completely online program in 1999. UW-Platteville’s growth philosophy is that producing high-quality graduates is our top priority. In fiscal year 2010, student enrollment in our three master’s and two bachelor’s programs included over 2,700 course registrations , representing forty states and fourteen countries.
