As a student of the University of Wisconsin-Platteville you have access to campus online resources. These include the password self-service tool, online library resources, campus netmail and associated campus email account, and the online advising sites.
Your username and password to access the advising resources are sent via email. This email also contains instructions to fully open your access to Platteville campus online services. The username and password for access to campus resources is different than the username and password that you use to access your online courses. The initial password that you receive is considered temporary as such it will only work for five logins. To activate or reset your password go to http://www.uwplatt.edu/go/password and click on the link titled, "Change my eDirectory password online...". This will present you with instructions to reset your password and to configure the challenge and response questions. With these questions set you will be able to reset your password as needed. Please note your password is case sensitive, your username is not.
All campus passwords expire every 90 days. To keep your campus password active you will have to return to http://www.uwplatt.edu/go/password and reset your password.
Please note that you will continue to use a separate password to access your online courses.
