The
UW-Platteville Distance Learning Center and the UW-Platteville Office of
Student Support Services are discussing the possibility of offering tutoring
services to undergraduate distance learning students who are taking print-based
or online courses. As we continue our discussions, it would be helpful
to have your input in terms of what your tutoring needs might be.
It is possible that we will
offer some form of pilot tutoring program as early as this fall.
The pilot program would most likely have some restrictions in terms of
the course(s) for which tutoring will be offered and who is eligible to
participate. However, in order to receive maximum input regarding
your tutoring needs, we ask that all students complete and return the survey.
More specific information will be supplied at a later time. Thank
you.

than 8 members, add the following amount for each additional family member:
$4,530 for the 48 Contiguous States, the District of Columbia, and outlying
jurisdictions; $5,670 for Alaska; and $5,205 for Hawaii.
The term "low-income individual"
means an individual whose family's taxable income for the preceding year
did not exceed 150% of the poverty level amount.
The figures shown under family
income represent amounts equal to 150% of the family income levels established
by the Census Bureau for determining poverty status. The poverty guidelines
