If you are obtaining your undergraduate degree and are interested in taking exams to earn credit toward your degree, you may want to look into the College-Level Examination Program (CLEP). 

CLEP is a national credit-by-examination program designed to help students of any age earn credit for what they know.  The exams are all computer-based,so you can get immediate feedback after completing an exam (with the exception of the English composition exam).
