Keeping your contact information updated is important!

Email has become a way of life for many of us.  Here at the Distance Learning Center, email has become critical in helping us to inform you of all the things that happen on a day-to-day basis.  We want you to have the latest information while it is still valuable to you.

Many people tend to be very mobile these days, and things such as email, address, and telephone numbers may change several times a year.   The Distance Learning Center tries to maintain contact through all of these different methods with you so that you can have the information to make the best decisions for your educational goals.  Currently, we are in the process of converting our database systems to help us better serve your information needs.

As many of you may already know, we send out information to online students about the upcoming course schedules, new policies, and many other issues and events on a monthly basis.  You should be receiving this information in your email box.  If you aren't currently seeing these updates, you should verify that we have your most current contact information including email address, mailing address, and current phone number.  This will ensure that you are aware of everything that is happening at the university, and you won't be missing any critical information that could have an impact on your educational goals.

It is also a good idea to let your instructors know about any changes in your contact information so they can reach you. If you are taking online courses, you may want to update the Learning Innovations office as well.

As we continue to strive to better serve our students, we would like to encourage everyone who has an available email address -- regardless of whether you are an online student or print-based student -- to please inform the Distance Learning Center of any changes.  This will enable us to give you information in a timely manner as we develop our new communications systems.

Remember that information is one of the keys to success, and we want to unlock all the doors!
