The
Learning Technology Center web
site offers students a wide range of application courseware to use
at their leisure. The LTC offers step-by-step instructions in the Microsoft
and Corel Office suites, Multimedia, Internet, Electronic Mail, Operating
Systems 95/98/NT, scheduling software, and creating web pages. In addition
to courseware created by the LTC, UW-Platteville also offers computer-based
training, or CBT, to students.
To
access the CBT courses, simply go to the CBT web
site and click on the "Enter" link and then the "Register"
button. You will be asked to pick a student number with which to
log in. After registering, you may choose the courseware in which you are
interested. CBT offers a wide range of courses available to students. Choices
range from Internet, to programming courses, to help with the Office Suites.
Project Management students may be particularly interested in the CBT online
courses on Scope, Estimating, Scheduling, and Human Resources.
